  1. Take a daily suppplement of vitamin B, biotin or a multivitamin
  2. Trim your ends every season, Winter, Spring, Summer Fall.
  3. Don’t skip shampoos. A clean scalp promotes growth but washing too frequently can also dry out the hair, so try and find a happy medium.
  4. Use a deep conditioner every time you shampoo your hair.
  5. Keep use of combs to a minimum, combing your hair daily is not advised.
  6. Detangle with conditioner or a slippery detangling product
  7. Air dry your hair as often as you can. But if you must use heat to dry your hair, A hooded dryer is better than the direct heat from a hand held blow dryer.
  8. Don’t over manipulate your hair too much. Breakage can often be avoided if you keep it simple.
  9. Sleep with a satin bonnet or scarf or with a satin pillow case at night to prevent breakage and drying of your hair.
  10. Drink the recommended amount of water to keep your hair hydrated from the inside out.
