Yesterday I shared the funky hipster back to school style created by natural hair vlogger Chime Edwards. Today we have a brand new style for you that puts mad swag on your top knot game.  Chime stated “the inspiration for this look was, I’m a little
ashamed to say, laziness.  I didn’t set my hair the night before when I went to bed so I woke up with a bird’s nest on my head.” How many of us can relate to this story?  If you’re in high school or college, with all nighters, late studying sessions and parties, I’m sure you will use this style often.

Chime thought to herself, “What can I do to jazz this look up?….. Add an accessory!” My first thought was to use loc clips but I quickly nixed that idea since it has always been my go to. I wanted something different so I decided to incorporate braid cord that I bought a few months prior but had yet found a use for. It definitely took the look from zero to a hundred real quick!”

To achieve this style Chime used kenekalon braiding hair and braiding cord.
