Bangs are hot, and there are no two ways about it. The forehead fringe is designed to flatter the face and if done correctly, can make you look sexy,
youthful, feminine, sassy, all at once. Bangs come in numerous styles and choosing the right one will make a huge difference to your appearance. So how do you know which one is right for you? We’ll tell you…
For long face:
Long faces typically have broad and high foreheads and bangs can help cut the length of the long face. Longer bangs will be ideal as they will cover a large portion of your forehead, giving the illusion of width to the face.
For oval face:
Oval faces are the most versatile and can carry all kinds of bangs. People with oval faces can pick a bang style according to how they want to look. For instance, if you are aiming to look more feminine, angled and shorter bangs will add flow and texture making the face look youthful and girlish. If you want to go for heavy bangs, opt of one that curve down on the sides to add some edgy style.
For round face:
A round face can use a little length and hence bangs that are a little shorter in the middle are right for round faces. Adding the illusion of length and making the face appear more oval-like, wispy bangs that reveal more forehead, sexy side swept or an asymmetric one that diverts the eye are right for round face.
For heart-shaped face:
Bangs which will balance the thinner jawline and wider foreheads of the heart-shaped faces like the long layered side bangs. This will draw attention to the middle of the face focusing on eyes and lips. Choose bang length not below your eyebrows that would cover most of the forehead.
For square face:
For flattering a square-ish face, go for longer, lash-grazing bangs that end mid-eyebrow. Wearing it as wispy, angled fringe will cut the square dimension, flattering the face and making it look sleek and lengthy. Straight blunt bangs are a no-no as this would make the square more prominent.
