Start off by choosing a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. Apply a lightweight mousse on the lengths of your hair, and brush a comb through to distribute it evenly. Begin rough-drying your hair using the nozzle of your dryer and use your fingers to remove any tangles. Run a wide-toothed comb through before you start curling. Create a deep side parting and divide your hair. Break one side of your mane into three sections and clip them up. Unclip the first section; with a barrel curling iron, curl the locks in the direction away from your face. Next, take the second section down and curl it towards your face. Bring down the third section and curl it away from your face, like the first one. Repeat the process on the other side. Spray a lightweight hairspray to protect those curls. To finish, work your way through your curls with your hands, scrunching for a tousled texture.
