Slow Beauty: Air Dried Hair

The heat of summer is the perfect time to give up your blow dryer and heat styling

tools in favor of a more gentle and easy approach. If your hair could use some rehab, there is no better time to give your hair what it has been thirsting for….

Depending on your hair’s texture, you may need a little help going slow from our super easy styling products. You know the twists and turns of your hair better than anyone so feel free to modify our recommendations into a ritual that works perfectly for you.

How to Air Dry….

If Your Hair is on the Finer Side:

  • Lather, rinse + repeat with our LavenderMint+Wild Clover shampoo. Conditioner optional.
  • Wrap your hair in a bamboo towel or t shirt to soak most of the moisture
  • Spray from roots to ends with our LavenderMint+Wild Clover Hydrating Mist
  • Finger comb to style, touching as little as possible. You know your hair, so feel free to add twists if you need them-then leave it until dry.
  • Fluff lightly when completely dry and then add a dot of LavenderMint+Wild Clover Silkening Serum to any areas that need a bit of control.

If Your Hair is Thick, Coarse or Damaged:

  • While hair is dry, add several pumps of Rosewood Infusion+Angelica Glossing Drops to scalp+length of hair.
  • Massage into scalp to stimulate+soothe. Coat hair to increase elasticity, close the cuticle, add a protective layer.
  • Twist up and leave on for 15 minutes.
  • Lather, rinse + repeat. The first cleanse loosens impurities, the second does the deep cleaning. Our LavenderMint+Wild Clover is the perfect choice because it is light but also smoothing. Conditioner optional.
  • Wrap hair in a bamboo towel or t-shirt to soak most of the moisture.
  • Add a bit of Silkening Serum on any trouble spots (frizz or greys that are hard to tame)
  • Finger comb to style touching as little as possible. You know your hair, so feel free to add twists if you need them-then leave until dry.
  • Fluff lightly when completely dry and then add a spray of LavenderMint+Wild Clover Hydrating Mist to any areas if needed. Also great for refreshing your next day hair.
  • Notice the changes in your hair with these new steps.

    Commit to repeating this new routine for one month and by mid-summer your hair will be shiny, healthy+gorgeous.
